What kinds and forms of BAA exist?
Biologically active food additives are produced in the form of extracts, tinctures, balms, isolates, and powder, dry as well as liquid concentrates, syrups, tablets, and capsules as well as in other forms. Traditionally, the largest part of BAAs is produced in the form of tablets, gelatine capsules, containing dosage of dry powder, and teas as well. Liquid BAAs are represented at dramatically lower levels although the biological availability of such products is approximately four times higher than for dry ones. In the USA, BAA systems called the Pocket Shot that have the consistency of gel and are packed in special plastic flacons are gaining on popularity.
