BAA

Are components contained in BAA capable of causing side effects?

Pursuant to legislation for expertise and hygienic certification of BAA in relation to food, "...biologically active food additives must not contain strong-effect, toxic and poisonous substances or plant raw materials not used in medical practice or in nutrition".
If trace elements, amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins are involved, the approval procedure of the composition must strictly follow the dosage of individual components. In production of BAAs of animal origin, it is forbidden to use raw materials obtained with assistance of genetic engineering as well as a number of specific animal organs.
As far as the presence of pharmaceuticals in BAA is concerned, the daily dosage of such a product or, as the case may be, daily dosage of the efficient start of the para-pharmaceutical in the case of a mixture, must not exceed a one-off therapeutic dosage stipulated for the use of such substances as healing devices, under the condition that BAA is used twice in the course of 24 hours at most. Before we start using BAA, of course, it is necessary to read carefully not only the advertising leaflet but also get carefully acquainted with information on the label. The description of excellent effects of using the product in the leaflet for various ailments may hardly give a credible impression. BAAs are not medicines and are used "as prevention, ancillary therapy and support to functioning of organs and systems within physiological limits" (para-pharmaceuticals) or are used "for treatment of chemical composition of human food" (nutriceutics). The only devices suitable for ancillary therapy for many ailments are adaptogenes increasing overall resistance of organism. When you get familiar with the composition of BAA, it is worth the while to search for information in the manuals on the plants used. If you manage to find such information, pay attention to the effect of individual components. When selecting nutriceutics, compare the contents of the components contained in them (vitamins, trace elements) with physiological dosages that may be found in available specialised manuals.
