How are BAA certified?

The system of certification of BAAs ensures strict control of quality of local as well as imported products. Research required to issue a certificate is done by laboratories accredited in the system of the ministry of healthcare.

What indicators are monitored when hygienic assessment of BAA is performed? BAAs are assessed pursuant to the following indicators: sanitary and chemical: heavy metal salts (mercury, arsine, lead, cadmium, etc.); pesticides, residual amounts of antibiotics, nitrites and other toxic elements; sanitary microbiological: complex of microorganisms is monitored; radiologic: presence of radioactive elements.
